Take This Dance Live from Under The Apple Tree Studios Misty River The Workshop Released: Single: Out now/Album: 9 October 2020

We say Recorded fully live in Bob Harris’s studio in Oxfordshire in February, Take This Dance Live from Under The Apple Tree Studios is the gorgeous new version of London-based UK Americana duo Misty River’s debut single. The original recently featured in Netflix’s late-in-life coming out documentary film A Secret Love, having previously been placed in Mat Kirkby’s Oscar-winning short film The Phone Call. It’s easy to see how with the touching vocals of songwriter Carmen Phelan washing over you hauntingly amidst a sea of rich, warm Americana melodies, deftly arranged by producer Adam Morley. With tastemaker support from the likes of Q magazine, Americana UK, fRoots and Maverick Magazine, the track has picked up radio support on Irish Radio (RTE 1, RTE 2, BBC Ulster), as well as Radio 2 and BBC London. The duo, who are currently seeking a publishing deal, will be releasing their first full-band studio single With You Around in July, followed by their debut album in October. We can't wait. Gardening Guru's Book postponed - Rachelle Buchanan tell-all on hold

MEMPHIS, TN (IFS) – Word has reached the offices of Internet Federation of Syndicate News Writers (IFS), that Arizona Gardening Guru, Rachelle Buchanan, (Planting Arizona – SDCTV) has decided that her biography RKB – FROM SEEDS TO RICHES will be postponed for several months.

Buchanan decided that she was not mentally ready to face the challenges of the rugged recall that impeded her when growing up as a child in Illinois and Arizona.  As the seventh child of Arthur and Roberta Sholz,  the young Rachelle enjoyed learning the skills that her grandmother gave her, and the love of gardening. 

Buchanan’s book is straight to the point and holds nothing back.  It’s the book that will one day be filmed and will be a contender for several awards.  As stated earlier, the preface of the book was enough to put it on hold, and it was not even Chapter One.  When Buchanan will start back on the writing of the book will be up to her health and her outlook into the future value of such a book.

Buchanan’s hit SDCTV/PLEX gardening show is a must-watch for gardeners and beginners everywhere.  Over eight (8) years ago, Buchanan started a “Mystery Mellons” campaign to help in the food deserts of the World.  Expanding to children in homes that are in the city, and seniors that were in nursing homes. 

“It is so healing to help grow plants and foodstuffs in small places,”  Buchanan added.  In the early days, Buchanan would just ship the seeds.  However, these days, her “Mystery Mellons” comes with everything you need to grow food, including seeds, soil, and growing containers all in one package.

The program has been so successful, Buchanan refuses to slow down, and continues to garden regularly on her video show with her experimental gardens and projects were all over Arizona, including Southern California and Southern Nevada.

Buchanan’s book publisher, SDC PaperDreams Imprint and Digital Publishing Division will reset their publishing deadline to help ease the continuity that she needs to project into this biography.

Buchanan was given the opportunity to start on the book over several months ago, and the right tone of the project could not be found.

With several in-house writers that started on the Preface portion.  Buchanan decided that the storyline was to close to home, and she said that it was like taking a shot of acid and zooming into the sky.  The emotions of her life are somewhat drastic and writing on the biography was more complicated and stressful than at first to be believed.

Kenneth Howard Smith, CEO/President of SDC OmniMedia Group, the parent company of PaperDreams Imprint, told IFS, that he was willing to give Buchanan all the space she needed to complete the book.  In the meantime, Buchanan's new album MUSIC FOR GROWING PLANTS will be available for purchase and or download by June 20, 2020.

Smith also, expressed his sincere apology to Ms. Buchanan for having to recall such abuse and torment from family members, that to this day has taken a great toll.  When Buchanan’s story is told and the book released, the fallout will be extraordinary.

2019 was a hell of a year for Kim Petras. Releasing her first full-length project, Clarity, via the rather unconventional strategy of sharing a new track every week, Kim went from opening for rising pop stars like Troye Sivan at the Greek Theater at the end of 2018, to headlining a set at the Shrine Auditorium herself just a year later. And despite the sh*t show that 2020 has turned out to be, with fear and anxiety mounting due to concerns about the pandemic, the 27-year-old pop star is more determined than ever to keep putting out music that’s a distraction and a relief from the worst parts of the outside world.  Releasing her latest, sunny single “Malibu” yesterday to kick off her next era, Petras is clearly entering a phase that will contain some of her most upbeat and brightest work yet. “I just hope it makes people forget about everything that's going on right now and just takes them into this little pop bubble,” she said of the track, when we spoke over the phone earlier this week. “I hope everybody's staying safe and sane, I just wish everybody all the best and I’m sending so much love.” "Malibu" is definitely a love letter of a song, featuring big, bombastic synths and a golden era pop aesthetic that evokes what Kim calls the "superstar-feeling pop" sound. It's imperial in tone, and breathless in feeling, and a complete 180 from the dark, trap-inflected pop she was leaning toward on Clarity. As the lead track off what will be her formal debut album, "Malibu" sets the bar high, and is the perfect escapist fantasy to lose track of reality inside. While observing the safer-at-home ordinances in LA as much as possible these past few weeks, I absolutely had to take my car for a quick spin around the block just to hear this in full cruise mode — it's a perfect soundtrack for that, and a reminder that a more light-hearted future exists out there, somewhere. Produced by Shooter Jennings and spiked with a dollop of Tammy Wynette-style gender commentary, Neon Cross is the kind of album you’ll want to get up on before it becomes the de facto country record of the year. Look for it coming out at the end of May and check out “Just A Woman” right now. LISTEN REMEMBER WHEN HAPPY BIRTHDAY, JANET JACKSON! Later this week, a music icon celebrates her 53rd trip around the sun and her third year of being a mom — yes that’d be Janet Jackson, queen of having a baby at the age of 50. Not only is she a mother, but Janet is one of the foremost pop stars of the last several decades, leaving her mark on the ‘80s, ‘90s, and today via young stars like Yaeji and Grimes who carry her influence forward. Janet has sold over 100 million records worldwide, and frankly, I wouldn’t be surprised if she has at least two or three more comeback albums in her. Raise a glass wherever you’re quarantining to salute the “Rhythm Nation” legend later this week. LISTEN LOVE LETTERS LENNON STELLA & CHARLIE PUTH If Scoob! The Album isn’t where you thought you’d find your new favorite summer bop, well, you’re not alone. But dammit if that detective dog and his gang haven’t amassed one of the finest pop soundtracks in recent memory, and the cherry on top is a new Charlie Puth collaboration with Lennon Stella. “Summer Feelings” manages to capture the butterfly-feeling of a new crush in a classic, windswept groove that’s a throwback to classic ‘00s love songs. And before you quibble with my designation of that era as classic, remember that as of this year it was twenty years ago. Let’s celebrate this new bop while we’re still young, shall we?
