MSNBC caves on Legal Suit against Lawrence O'Donnell's Banking Statement

APACHE JUNCTION AZ (IFS) -- As NBC Universal backs down from the legal threat from Donald Trump's legal team, about the con-signature loans from the Russians, it would have been a great occasion for Trump to testify under oath and produce the papers in questions.  But no.  The powers that be are scared stiff of Trump and his lawyers.  O'Donnell will be vindicated in full one day, and his bosses will pat him on the back and tell him -- that they were with him all the way!!  But for now, he will have to eat "crow"; it's the corporate way.  Corporate never stands up for its talent -- never.   They only get the glory of missing the chance to be first, and after the facts are presented by someone else, as they go chasing the dust down the road. - KHS
One of MSNBC’s hosts walked back Wednesday an incendiary claim he had made the previous night about President Trump being controlled by the Kremlin.
Lawrence O’Donnell retracted his claim that Russian oligarchs had co-signed Mr. Trump’s loans with Deutsche Bank, saying the claim hadn’t been vetted and was based on hearsay.
“The source says that Deutsche Bank is in possession of loan documents that show Donald Trump has obtained loans with co-signers, and that he would not have been able to obtain those loans without co-signers,” Mr. O’Donnell said on fellow host Rachel Maddow’s show. ‘The source close to Deutsche Banksays that the co-signers of Donald Trump’s Deutsche Bank loans are Russian billionaires close to Vladimir Putin.”
On Twitter, teasing the segment, Mr. O’Donnell wrote that “if true, that explains every kind word Trump has ever said about Russia and Putin.”
